Maria has been directly involved in coffee production for 6 years. Work and passion comes from her parents and grandparents who have also been dedicated to coffee production for more than 80 years at Finca La Esperanza. Finca La Esperanza meant and means for them as a family new hope for her parents and a way to improve her standard of living. Originally, they were a family of 6 between brothers and sisters, due to life circumstances, they moved to live abroad but frequently visited their parents, gradually getting involved in the process of co ee production, which gave them a gradual experience into co ee and leading to a way to now being at the forefront of co ee processing and production.
